India Broadens Arab Outreach: Discussions With Arab League to Boost Cooperation

The Ministry of External Affairs, Secretary (South) Dr. Neena Malhotra chaired a consultation meeting with Arab Ambassadors in New Delhi today. MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that the meeting discussed efforts to further strengthen cooperation between India and the League of Arab States.

The Arab League, officially the League of Arab States, is a regional organization founded on March 22, 1945, in Cairo, Egypt. It aims to strengthen relations and coordinate the interests of its 22 member states, which are Arabic-speaking countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Its goals include safeguarding the independence and sovereignty of member states and providing a platform for collective consideration of their affairs.
