A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between Ambo University (AU) of Ethiopia and Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) of India. The partnership aims to conduct joint research projects, form industry-academic partnerships, sponsor a research scholar as well as the sharing of knowledge between the two esteemed institutions.
The MOU signing ceremony held at the Embassy of Ethiopia in New Delhi and signed by Dr. Bayissa Leta, President of Ambo University, and R.K. Agora, Registrar of Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS).
During the occasion, H.E. Ambassador Demeke Atnafu highlighted the longstanding collaboration between Ethiopia and India in education sector and underscored the significance of such partnerships in fostering global understanding and creating avenues for academic and student exchange, as well as to conduct joint research and training program focusing mainly at PhD level.
Dr. Bayissa Leta and R.K. Agora, in a joint statement, expressed their readiness to work together for the realization of the MOU agreement.
