Ethiopia Showcased Cultural Heritage at Bihar Museum Biennale – 2025

Ethiopia proudly presented its rich historical and artistic heritage at the Bihar Museum Biennale – 2025, in an event co-organised by the Ethiopian Embassy in New Delhi.

The vibrant art exhibition offered visitors an immersive glimpse into Ethiopia’s diverse cultural traditions, featuring magnificent artworks and colourful expressions. The showcase also reflected the deep-rooted people-to-people ties, cultural affinities, and enduring diplomatic relations between Ethiopia and India.

Ethiopia was honoured to be the only African nation represented at this prestigious gathering, joining cultural voices from Asia and Latin America in the third edition of the Biennale.

Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister of Bihar, visited the Ethiopian Art Exhibition during the launch of the Bihar Museum Biennale 2025 in Patna. The event also featured high-ranking Indian officials, including Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister, the Water Resources Minister, and the Director General of the Bihar Museum. They praised Ethiopia’s contribution to the exhibition, highlighting its role in sharing rich African artistic narratives with the Global South.

Bihar Museum, Patna which is among the world’s most high-tech museums organised the Bihar Museum Biennale-2025, to commemorate its 10 years. The theme of the current edition of the Bihar Museum Biennale was ‘Global South: Shared Heritage.’
