H.E. Kamel Galal, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to India, graced the conference organized by O.P. Jindal Global University on April 7 as the Chief Guest. The conference, held under the theme “Global Diplomacy and Policy: Embracing Opportunities in Higher Education, Health Security, and Security Cooperation,” brought together thought leaders, policymakers, academics, and diplomats to deliberate on pressing global issues and collaborative solutions.
In his keynote address, Ambassador Galal emphasized the importance of multilateral dialogue and international partnerships in addressing global challenges, particularly in the domains of education, health, and security. He also took part as a distinguished speaker in a dedicated session on International Security, where he shared insights on Egypt’s strategic perspectives and the broader implications for regional and global peace.
During his visit, Ambassador Galal held a fruitful meeting with Professor (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar, Founding Vice Chancellor of O.P. Jindal Global University. The two dignitaries discussed prospects for deepening academic cooperation between Indian and Egyptian institutions, focusing on faculty and student exchange programs, collaborative research initiatives, and joint academic ventures aimed at strengthening educational ties between the two countries.
